On Saturday June 2nd Sinergy After Dark and Red Rope proudly hosted the appearance of reality TV star Reza Farahan, who flew in from Los Angeles, CA. Reza is known for his over-the-top personality, amazing fashion sense and his unique mustache from Bravo’s hit series ‘Shahs of Sunset’. During his first appearance in DC, he kept the crowd hyped and upbeat at Current Lounge.
Even when the place was packed, Reza took pictures with the crowd throughout the night and tried to meet everyone. DC’s very own celebrity Tehran SoParvaz co-hosted the appearance and also kept the crowd energized for Reza Farahan.
Mustaches were handed out to all the guests so they could be just like Reza, while enjoying sounds of DC’s most celebrated DJs DJ Stylus Chris and DJ Khaleel. Guys and girls were dressed to impress with mustaches on dancing all night.
There was also a lookalike contest to win a comped VIP table courtesy of Sinergy After Dark, Red Rope and Current Sushi. The winners were Nikki and Borzou.

We hope to have Reza Farahan’s effervescent personality back in DC soon! It was announced in April that ‘Shahs of Sunset’ would be brought back to Bravo for a second season. Reza plans on coming back soon!
